Despite the end of the session, many government colleges have not been able to send a report, in which the Teacher-Student Satisfaction Survey is important. The colleges are rated on the basis of the survey, but the management is far behind in sending the report-survey. During the review meeting last week, the negligence of colleges has been revealed.

Annual reports are yet to come from 104 colleges across the state, including four from Indore. Senior officials have reprimanded the college. Even the management has been directed to send the report at ten points within seven days.200 government colleges across the state have been selected for the World Bank’s Higher Education Quality Upgradation Project. Management has to send annual report of each session.

Points like teacher-student saturation survey, student tracking system, college passout rate (students passed in UG-PG) etc. have to be included in the report based on the facility-teaching method of the college. The special thing is that the survey was to be done between 28 November to 20 December. Then the colleges had to upload the report for the session 2019-20 by 25 December.

On 31 December, the Higher Education Department convened a review meeting, in which 104 colleges neither conducted the survey nor sent an annual report, including Nirbhay Singh Patel New Science College, Old GDC, GACC, Bherulal Patidar Government College (Mhow). It is said that the officials reprimanded the colleges. Urgent report is sought. The order has been issued by Chandrashekhar Valimbe, Additional Commissioner of the Department.

Students have to provide information

The management has to keep the information of the students who have passed out from the colleges. After the study, students’ job and business have to be mentioned in the student tracking report. Report 2016 sending college to the department. Senior officials of the department say that the report helps a lot to provide employment to the youth.
