33,218 children of class 10 will be handed over to police
The 10th class board examination starting from April 15 has been postponed till further orders. Nevertheless, the distribution of question papers will begin on April 10 and 11 in the district. Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur issued an order on Friday, saying that after distribution, the central heads will have to put the question papers in the strong room of the nearest police station.
The tenth exam was scheduled to be offline from April 15 to May 1. There were 33,218 examinees to attend. The preparations for the examination were almost done. Parents along with teachers have breathed a sigh of relief from the postponement of the exam between the corona infections. Answerbook has been distributed in 421 examination centers of the district.
The board has ordered the distribution of confidential material question paper from April 10. The Coordinator has ordered Dr. RK Gauraha, Principal of the Central Government Multi-purpose Higher Secondary School, to keep the question paper in the strong room of the police station through the Kendras after distribution. It is worth noting that the entire arrangement has been made for distribution of question papers in the district. Principals will have to come with a mask and sanitizer in view of the infection. Adherence to physical distance will also be mandatory.
Start from rural area police stations
The distribution of the question paper will start from 10.30 am on Saturday. In the Government Multi-purpose Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Chowk, 67 schools in rural areas will be distributed on the first day. On April 11, the city will get 63 schools. This year 421 schools have been made examination centers in the district.
Not yet decided on 12th standard
At present, the government has not taken any decision regarding class 12th. The exam is scheduled to run from May 3 to May 24. This time the number of centers has been increased almost three times due to Corona. In the center where the student has filled the form, the matter of giving the exam was also revealed there. The exam is to be held from nine in the morning to 12.15 in the afternoon.
