After the mandate, the operators of the schools will no longer be able to increase the fees

The operators of schools recognized by different boards will not be able to increase the fees of students in the academic session 2021-22. The increased fee will have to be adjusted in the next month’s fee. As soon as the mandate was received, the education department swung into action. The Education Department has issued guidelines in this regard to the operators of all the schools.

The new academic session of schools starts from April 1. Due to the Corona crisis, a holiday has been declared in schools till June 30. In the month of July, the government will decide to open the school according to the circumstances. Due to the Corona crisis, the back of middle class families has been broken. In such a situation, continuous efforts are being made by the government to provide financial relief. Due to the crisis, care has also been taken to ensure that the teachers and staff teaching in recognized private schools do not face the problem of salary. At the same time, keeping in mind the interests of the parents, it has been decided not to increase the fees.

After the mandate, the school operators will be able to charge only the prescribed fee in the academic session 2020-21. As long as the schools remain closed, no fee will be payable for activities like sports, science, laboratory, library, computer, annual festival, transportation etc. If any parent has difficulty in paying the fee for any month, then that fee will be taken in the form of installments.
The operators of private schools will not be able to increase the fees in the schools in the current academic session. The operators will have to follow the guidelines of the government. If any school does not follow the guidelines of the government, then after investigation of the complaint, action for withdrawal of recognition will be taken. –
