Agrasen College gets two-F and 12-B grant from UGC

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved two-F12-B grant to Agrasen Mahavidyalaya, Purani Basti Raipur. In this regard, the UGC has said in its letter sent on June 7 that both these grants can be used for schemes related to the welfare and holistic development of teachers and students.

In this regard, Dr. VK Agrawal, Director of the college said that approval of grant from UGC would help in better implementation of various academic, research and student welfare schemes in the college. Dr. Agrawal informed that on last 7 and 8 February, the peer team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) had inspected Agrasen College.

In this meeting, the Chairman of NAAC had described the achievements of Agrasen College as a small college, a big effort. Also run by the college itself. Sushant Agarwal Smriti Book Bank and other innovations and efforts were also appreciated. Regarding the UGC grant, Principal Dr. Yulendra Kumar Rajput said that now financial support will be available for regional and national level seminars and research projects in the college.

This will certainly pave the way for the academic development of the faculty and students of the college. Along with this, cooperation will also be available in the expansion of resources related to studies and teaching in the college. On the other hand, the administrator of the college, Amit Agarwal, while describing it as an achievement, said that the management and all the staff of the institute have contributed together in this.
