AICTE has released revised academic calendar, check notification

All India Council for Technical Education has revised the AICTE Academic Calendar 2021 (AICTE Academic Calendar 2021). AICTE has released the revised academic calendar for the session 2021-22 on the official site aicte-india.org. According to the revised calendar, classes will start from 15 September 2021 for first year students in all technical institutions of the country.

Apart from this, the last date to start classes for existing students of technical courses is till September 1, 2021. In addition, the council will grant affiliation to the institutions by the university or board by July 15, 2021. The last date for completion of first round counseling and admission for allotment of seats is till August 31, 2021.

In addition, AICTE will sanction technical institutes, standalone PGDM/PGCM courses and institutions offering ODL/online courses for this academic year by June 30, 2021. According to AICTE, classes for existing and new students in standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions will start from August 2. And the last date of admission is 11th August. Also the last date for cancellation of admission including full refund for courses in PGDM/PGCM institutes is 6th August. The Council has directed technical institutes across the country that classes can be started online or offline or in mixed mode, following the prescribed protocols or guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from this, in the notification issued, AICTE has directed all approved institutions or universities to follow the guidelines of AICTE / UGC for examinations issued from time to time due to the pandemic. Apart from this, students or institutes associated with technical courses can check more details related to the calendar through the official site of AICTE.
