Fishery Officers are responsible for the conservation and protection of fisheries, whether freshwater or marine. They carry out surveys of aquatic life, investigate fish mortalities and study water quality.They advise members of the public and industry about sustainable fishing and promote angling as a recreational activity.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Fishery officer must be Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (B.F.Sc.) from a GOI recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Applying candidates should be 18 to 30 years as on 21.09.2015.
Application Fee: Candidates can obtain application form from the Commissions Office on all working days from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM (up to 21-09-2015) by paying Rs.100/- only in case of APST candidates and Rs.160/- for General Candidates in the form of Demand Draft/ Treasury Challan.
How to Apply: Eligible & Interested candidates may send their applications along with 02 recent passport size photographs, self-attested copies of relevant documents as mentioned in the notification in a cover/ envelope should be superscripted with “Application for the post of Lecturer Polytechnic” either may submitted in the Reception counter or addressed to the Secretary, AP PSC, Itanagar – 791 111 (Arunachal Pradesh) on or before 21.09.2015.
