Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites application for the post of 07 Fishery Officer/Extension Officer(Fishery) undre the Department of Fishery. Apply before 21 September 2015.

Fishery Officers are responsible for the conservation and protection of fisheries, whether freshwater or marine. They carry out surveys of aquatic life, investigate fish mortalities and study water quality.They advise members of the public and industry about sustainable fishing and promote angling as a recreational activity.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Fishery officer must be Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (B.F.Sc.) from a GOI recognized Institute.

Age Limit:  Applying candidates should be 18 to 30 years as on 21.09.2015.

Application Fee: Candidates can obtain application form from the Commissions Office on all working days from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM (up to 21-09-2015) by paying Rs.100/- only in case of APST candidates and Rs.160/- for General Candidates in the form of Demand Draft/ Treasury Challan.

How to Apply: Eligible & Interested candidates may send their applications along with 02 recent passport size photographs, self-attested copies of relevant documents as mentioned in the notification in a cover/ envelope should be superscripted with “Application for the post of Lecturer Polytechnic” either may submitted in the Reception counter or addressed to the Secretary, AP PSC, Itanagar – 791 111 (Arunachal Pradesh) on or before 21.09.2015.

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is the state agency authorized by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Arunachal Pradesh and to advise the government on civil service matters. Arunachal Pradesh is located between 26.28° N and 29.30° N latitude and 91.20° E and 97.30° E longitude and has 83,743 square kilometer area, most of the area of the state is covered by the Himalayas. Arunachal Pradesh receives heavy rainfall of 2,000 to 4,100 millimeters between May and September. Arunachal Pradesh is divided into nineteen districts, administered by a district collector. Arunachal Pradesh’s gross state domestic product was estimated at US$706 million at current prices in 2004 and USD 1.75 billion at current prices in 2012.Monpa, Adi, Nishi are the languages mostly spoken by the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
