Assam Agricultural University Recruitment for Junior Accountant 2015: Assam Agricultural University (AAU) Jorhat has released notification for the recruitment of Junior Accountant vacancies. Junior Accountant is a person who Reviews company’s profits and expenses, analysis its position and comprising reports of losses and profits. Junior Accountant’s work is to post journal entries, update financial statements, prepare monthly financial reports, calculate payroll taxes, audit and maintain accounts receivable and payable. He always works under the supervision of the senior accountants and although they may be encouraged to make suggestions, their ideas will always have to be accepted by their seniors.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Accountant should possess Degree in Arts/ Science & Commerce of a recognized University with knowledge of computer & experience.
Age Limit: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Accountant should be between 18-38 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable for special categories as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200/ to 20,200 Grade pay 3,300/-
Application Fee: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Accountant have to pay Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST candidates) through Pay-in-slip in the AAU General Fund (Savings) A/c No. 10253825316 in favor of the Comptroller, AAU, Jorhat-13 at any branch of the State Bank of India.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written & viva-voce test.
