Basic education department will find out the illiterate people of the district

The government has once again given instructions to find out the illiterate people of the district. Its responsibility has been entrusted to the Basic Education Department. BSA has asked the District Coordinator Integrated Education to prepare a list of illiterates.

The government has conducted the Padhega Bharat scheme. Under this scheme, work will be done to make the illiterate literate. On the instructions of the government, the Director General of School Education has asked for a list of illiterate people in the district. According to the official website, there are 2900 illiterate people in the district. Where is it and what is their name, this department has to find out.

After receiving the letter of Director General School Education, BSA Vijay Pratap Singh has directed District Coordinator Integrated Education Randhir Bahadur to find out illiterate people and prepare a list of them.

Renewal of motivators has not been done
since 2018 The Saakshar Bharat scheme is going on shutdown since 31 March 2018. The motivators and the block coordinators involved in the scheme have not been renewed since 2018. His honorarium for the last 26 months has also not been given. In such a situation, now the challenge before the department is how to find out the illiterate people of the district.
In the past, 2.50 lakh people were made literate
, after imparting training to 2.50 lakh people in the district under the Saakshar Bharat Mission scheme started in the year 2010. They were also issued a literate certificate after the examination.
According to the information sent from the department, there are 2900 illiterate people in the district. The work to trace these illiterates has been started. The list will be sent to the government soon.
