Basic education schools got 4 lakh books

The Department of Basic Education has made preparations to provide books to the students. So far, 4 lakh books of various subjects have been received by the education department from the government. After verification, the department will deliver these books to the schools.

The government has sent the books to the Basic Education Department of the district. There is a rule to deliver books to the school, but in the last years, the teachers had to pick up the books from the Block Resource Center instead of delivering them to the schools. This time the department has given assurance of change in the system to the teachers. So far, four lakh books have reached the students of classes 1 to 8 in the district. Subject wise books could not be matched. The SDM team will do the verification. After verification, these books will be sent to the schools. It will be the responsibility of the teachers to deliver the books to the students.
