Big news for students waiting for PSTSE scholarship in Punjab, education department took this step

Under the Punjab State Talent Search Examination (PSTSE) scheme, a budget of 76 lakhs has been released to give scholarships for the years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 to the students. This scholarship is given to the students coming in the merit, 2400 rupees annually.

The Department of Education has called for the list of eligible students for 2020-21 through District Education Officer Secondary and all nodal officers, in view of which the budget for 2019-20 was prepared. Be aware that this includes only the budgets of Fazilka, Ferozepur for 2017-2018 and 2018-19. 

In which Fazilka has covered 120000 in 2017-18 and 91200 in 2018-19 and 309600 in Ferozepur year 2017-18 and 542400 in 2018-19.

Budget released till 2019-2020

This includes 578400 of Jalandhar, 62400 of Amritsar, 194400 of Barnala, 520800 of Bathinda, 132000 of Faridkot, 163200 of Fatehgarh Sahib, 945600 of Fazilka, 907200 of Ferozepur, 72000 of Gurdaspur, 307200 of Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala 74400 of Ludhiana, 636000 of Ludhiana, 3636000. 309600 ofMoga, 196800 of Moga, 460800 of Muktsar Sahib, 93600 of Pathankot, 528000 of Patiala, 343200 of Roop Nagar, 463200 of SBS Nagar, 499200 of Sangrur, 14400 of Tarn Taran have been released.

On behalf of SCERT Punjab Director, all the District Education Officer Secondary across the state have been instructed to transfer scholarship to the bank accounts of the students as soon as possible. After that, all the scholarship students should send the certificate of transfer to the accounts by 15 January 2021. If there is any extra amount left during this time, surrender it.
