Birla Institute of Technology (BIT Mersa) is recruiting eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow, Chemistry (JRF).

Junior Research fellow is a person appointed to produce high quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of data. He works independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects. He manages external relationship with funders and other stakeholders.

Job Location: Ranchi

Pay Scale: Rs.25,000/- per month + HRA as applicable per institute rule.

Project Title: Synthesis, Characterisation and catalytic application of supported metal nanoparticles in Carbon-Carbon bond formation

Eligibility: First Class in M.Sc in Chemistry or Equivalent from UGC recognized University/Institute. Desirable NET/ GATE qualified candidates and candidates with knowledge of nanomaterial or Organic synthesis.

Selection Process: Selection of candidate will be on Interview basis.

Jharkhand has the source of the Koel, Damodar, Brahmani, Kharkai and Subarnarekha rivers. Jharkhand usually have moderate climate and three well-defined seasons. Jharkhand have three languages the Munda language, the Indo-Aryan language and the Dravidian language. The state have given us gems like Captain of Indian Cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bollwood actress Priyanaka Chopra.

Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand is situated in the southern part of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The city also known as the “City of Waterfalls”, as there are numerous waterfalls is present here, like Jonha Falls, Dassam Falls, Hirni Falls and Panchghagh Falls. Ranchi is known for its pleasant climate, because of its location and the forests surrounding.
