Brightest in the tenth board examination, girls outperformed, 66.56 percent passed the examination

Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board declared the results of 10th class of Winter Zone of Jammu division. In the examination held in November last year, 24842 candidates had participated, of which 16536 have achieved success, while 8179 failed. The total percentage of successful candidates in the examination was 66.56. 64.52 percent boys and 68.98 percent girls were successful in this.

Government schools have improved their position this time in these exams conducted amidst the challenge of Kovid. Last year the success rate of students of government schools was 46.19 percent, which has reached this 63.38 percent. In this exam 396 students got A1 grade while 2025 got A2, 3359 got B1, 4278 got B2, 4191 got C1, 2227 got C2 and 101 got D grade.

Talking about the subject, the highest 86.77 percent children in science subjects succeeded, while the least 77.76 percent children were successful in Maths. J&K School Education Board Chairman Veena Pandita said that it is a proud moment for the School Education Department to conduct a successful examination amidst Corona’s challenge.

tenth board examination, the science students have the highest success rate. 86.77 percent of the 24842 students were successful in Science. In English subjects, 81.49 in 24842, 77.76 out of 24842 in Math, 83.16 percent in 6740 in Hindi, 82.45 percent in 18102 in Urdu, 80.48 percent in 24842 in Social Studies. At the same time, one student has been disqualified from the examination for one year, while the examination of 43 students has been canceled, 30 such students have not been released.
