Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has expressed happiness over the approval of CBSE evaluation criteria and expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court. The Union Education Minister tweeted on Thursday evening, “Many thanks to the Supreme Court of India for recommending the policy and procedure of the Central Board of Secondary Education to prepare the results of class 12th students.

Dr Nishank further tweeted that this policy has been adopted by CBSE i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education after extensive consultation with all the stakeholders, which is in the interest of the students.

He said that while calculating the final result, the average of 3 best theory marks of class 10th, 30 percent weightage of theory marks in class 11th and 40 percent weightage of theory marks in class 12th would be taken. At the same time, marks given in practicals will be taken as they are.

Along with this, the Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank reiterated that the students who are not satisfied with their result under this process will be given an opportunity to appear in the examination to be conducted by CBSE if the conditions are favorable. Dr. Nishank said that our government is committed to the interests and bright future of all the stakeholders related to education in every situation.
