CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2018 Topper Meghna Srivastava's Interview

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the most awaited result of Class 12th Board Exam 2018 on 26th May 2018. With the announcement of result, Meghna Srivastava’s scores shocked everyone with her brilliant marks. Belongs to Noida and studied at Step By Step School, Meghna topped CBSE Class 12th Exam with 499 marks out of 500 and got 99.8%.

Other than English, she scored 100 marks in every subject, Psychology, History, Geography and Economics. While in English she got 99 marks. She has really given a tough competition to all the students.

According to her, pre-board exams had helped her to prepare for the finals as she got to know her mistakes and weakness in subject. She said that she practiced and solved question papers of previous years. “I have been very consistent and I would plan my revisions. I did not over pressurise myself. I always focused on my timelines and never indulged in studying at the last moment,” she added.

The topper now intends to pursue her further studies at The University of British Columbia and will pursue psychology. Well, she has chosen a great future for herself and aiming high to achieve a successful career.

Talking about the retest of Economics, Srivastava said that was very frustrated after the news about paper leak had emerged and a retest was announced. Despite studying so hard, we had to suffer. But gradually I settled down and decided to study four-five days before the retest.”

Apart from studies, Meghna loves to watch shows on Amazon Prima and Netflix. Suits, The Royals, The Crown are some of her favourite shows. She also enjoys listening to music and reading non-fiction books and baking cake to beat the exam stress.

Meghna’s mother is an HR head of a Gurugram based MNC and she is a niece of former CBI director Anil Sinha. She is definitely inherit intelligence in her genes.
