Chhattisgarh is going to have 10th and 12th board exams amidst increasing corona infection. In such a situation, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (Mashiman) has given a big relief to the candidates on Tuesday. Under this, the candidates who are corona infected or due to being in a lockdown or containment zone, will not fail even if they are absent in any subject or all subjects.

‘C’ will be written not absent in the marks list of such candidates. They will not be awarded marks, but will be placed in the pass category i.e. it will be considered passed. Special examination along with supplementary examination will be conducted for the students who have passed without taking the examination. On the basis of the marks obtained in these examinations, a revised marklist will be issued by marking the score in place of ‘C’ in their marklist. They will also be given a category.

Due to Corona, students have been given the option that they will not fail even if they are not able to take the exam. It is important to note that the 10th exam starts from April 15, which will run till May 1. There will be only one day off. At the same time, the 12th exam will be held from May 3 to 24. This time four lakh 62 thousand in the 10th and two lakh 83 thousand candidates are joining in the 12th.
