Senior Research Fellow leads and manages research projects and contributes to the research strategies of Unit and faculty. He develops proposals for significant research projects which increase the knowledge understanding and discover of new explanations, processes, concepts and insights.
Field Assistant is a person who is appointed to conduct field’s services operations, performs analytical studies, complex research and a variety of administrative projects. He monitors regulatory compliance and reporting for field services operations and performs duties related with it.

Eligibility: Diploma and MSc
SRF: Candidate must have post graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences preferably in the filled of Soil Science, Horticulture, Agronomy, etc. with 4 or 5 year bachelor degree.
Field Assistant and Skilled Worker:
- Candidate must have done Senior Higher Secondary in agriculture with diploma in horticulture or equivalent.
- Desirable: Candidate must have Knowledge of computer operation.
Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Central Institute for Arid Horticulture (CIAH) was established in the year 2000 in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Its main objective is to conduct research on some selected fruits in semi-arid areas of the country. CIAH is a branch of ICAR.
