Higher educational institutions in Uttarakhand will open from Tuesday. Preparations for opening of university and college were finalized on Monday. In view of the corona transition, the government has decided to start practical classes in the first and last semesters of UP and PG in the first phase.

According to the Director of Higher Education, Dr. Kumkum, all the universities have been given the SOP issued by the government. Everyone has strict instructions that all standards of prevention of corona infection should be strictly followed.

The government closed all educational institutions as a precautionary march due to the Corona epidemic. In view of the increasing concessions in various sectors, the government has given permission to start classes of 10th and 12th at the secondary level on November 2 last month. There was a demand to open colleges at higher education level as well. In the previous days, the cabinet had unanimously decided to open the first and last semester practical classes at the undergraduate and postgraduate level from 15 December.

These standards apply:
– Students cannot come without the permission of their parent

– Without masks not allowed in college premises, identity card will also be required
– Social distance will have to be compulsory, leaving a seat and sitting

– If a teacher-employee-student is found infected, immediate information will have to be given
– Only students with practical subjects will come, the rest will continue to study online.

– If the student number is more than 50 in a subject, there will be studies in two shifts

Director-Higher Education Dr. Kumkum Rautela informed that orders have been given to prepare the action plan at their level by sending SOPs to all the colleges. Colleges have finalized the preparations. Classes will begin on Tuesday.
