Prison Warder is an officer in charge of prisoners in a jail. He supervises all the operations in their prison and deals with officers, doctors and cooks of the prison. He supervises public funds, which they  use to securing the safety of the public and handling the prison. He is also responsible for the arrangement for programs like work crews of prisoners.

Eligibility Criteria


Candidate should have Intermediate (10+2) from State or Central Government board or Equivalent

Age Limit:

As on 1st January 2015
18-23 years

Selection Process:

  • Selection of candidates will be made through Written examination and Physical measurement / physical efficiency test.
  • Written examination will have 100 question of 300 marks (2 hours durartion).
  • Qualified candidates of written examination are only called for Physical measurement / physical efficiency test.

Application Fee:

For SC/ST: Rs. 200/-
For others: Rs. 400/-

How to Apply:

  • Candidates are requested to fill all required entries in prescribed online application form and upload scan copy of photograph and signature.
  • After registration, candidates should pay application fee through online process.
  • Candidates should retain printout of filled in form after final submission of application.
