Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission was established by the government of India in 1988. The organization is engaged in the objective of providing for the establishment of a Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, rationalization of electricity tariff, transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies and also provide electricity, wholesale bulk, grid or retail and to regulate power purchase and procurement process of the transmission utilities and distribution utilities. Now the institution has announced vacancies for the post of Principal Private Secretary. Those candidates who have a bachelor’s degree and experience from any recognized institute can apply for the post.

   Age Limit

Maximum age of the candidates will be 56 years and age relaxation will be given to the reserved category.

Salary

67,700-2,08,700 / – will be paid to the candidates who will be selected for these posts.

 Educational Qualification

  •  Graduate degree from a recognized University.
  • Well versed in computerized word processing.
  • Proficient in shorthand & typing
  • Experience of working as Personal Secretary to HoD for 5 years in Central / State Government OR any PSU / Corporation under Govt.
  • Diploma in Office Management & Secretarial Practice.

 Selection Process

Those candidates who are eligible will appear for the written exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be based on that only.
