Directorate of Education forgot to send the amount to buy books
Under the new academic session 2021-22, studies have started in schools and children from class VI to class 12 are coming to school, but the process of sending the amount to buy books has not been started yet. In such a situation, it seems that the state government and the Directorate of Education have forgotten to put the amount to buy books in the bank accounts of the children. At the same time, no guidelines have come from the Education Department regarding the amount of school dress and stationery and bags in the new session. In such a situation, it seems that the amount of buying books and getting school uniforms will take a long time to reach the bank accounts of the children. At the same time, it is believed that so far the data of all the students of government schools has not been uploaded on the MIS portal of the Education Department, due to which the amount is not being deposited by the Directorate of Education.
Let us inform that under the Right to Education Rules, the amount of purchase of school uniforms, apart from free textbooks of the syllabus, is deposited in the bank accounts of the students studying in government schools of Haryana state from class I to VIII. In which an amount of Rs 800 has been fixed for classes 1st to 5th and Rs 1000 from classes 6th to 8th. In the new session, till now the Directorate of Education has not given any update to the District Elementary Education Officers regarding the uniform. At the same time, due to the Corona epidemic not providing books in schools, the state government had announced to put 200 to 300 rupees in the bank accounts of children to buy books. But till now this amount has not come in the bank accounts of the children. The officials of the education department themselves are not aware that by when the amount will come in the bank accounts of the children.
District Elementary Education Officer Premlata Yadav said that the data has been updated for the old children of government schools. At the same time, the data of the newly admitted children is also being uploaded on the portal. The amount of books and uniforms is sent by the Directorate of Education. The data of children from the district level is put on the MIS portal, under which the Directorate of Education puts the amount in the bank accounts of the children. They do not know how long the amount will be deposited in the accounts of the children by the directorate.
