The education department has started its initiative to promote education in the district and to connect disabled students with the mainstream of education. The department has identified the differently abled child by conducting surveys in various blocks of the entire district. During the survey itself, more than one hundred differently-abled students were deprived of education in the district. Those who have been enrolled in adjacent schools. This will give the disabled students the opportunity to become self-sufficient after studying.

More disabled students have been found in Saurabazar and Banama Ithari blocks of the district. Earlier, more than four thousand differently-abled students are enrolled in the district. Government facilities are being provided to these differently abled students. In the district, for the differently-abled students, an inquiry camp was organized in various blocks of the district earlier, in which the health check-up of the disabled children was also arranged by the Education Department in collaboration with the Health Department. 

For the recent three-four years, the department has been taking interest in educating and educating the orthopaedically handicapped children. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan has enrolled more than one hundred differently-abled students in schools in Saharsa district in the month of March. Earlier, more than four thousand Divyang students are in the district.

The Scout Allowance Education Department is provided to the differently abled students of the district. Scout allowance has been given to assist the students with hearing impaired and unable to see and hear. In the last year also, around 213 children have been given assistance. This amount is given in the children’s bank account only.

In the last week of March, surveys have been done in various blocks of the district to identify the deprived of education, whose enrollment has been done in the school.
