Now along with exams from ninth to 12th, students will be able to do skill courses to gain skills. The education department has started giving guidance to the students about the course to teach self-employment skills and to fill their skills so that there is no confusion in the students as to what they can do after passing tenth and twelfth. According to their interest they can choose many fields. In such a situation, students will be giveninformation about which courses they should take after passing the 10th and 12th examinations. In the first phase on behalf of SCERT Punjab Director, suggestions have been sought from everyone from the department, which can be sent to guidancecounselingpunjab@gmail.com by 10 April. It has also been said that currently the summary of skill courses has been uploaded on the website.

Accountancy (Chartered Accountant), Banking (Personal, Corporate, Loan Exitivities), Insurance (Insurance Agent, Surveyor) Finance (Certified Financial Planner, Analyst), Management (Marketing, Event, Retail, Sales Management) etc. for the students of Commerce sector. I have possibilities and they are very much in demand. After graduation for students of Arts subject, IAS and IPS officer can be passed by passing the examination of civil services. By DLL, ETT teacher, BA-BEd, Master cadre, Master’s degree and BEd can be made Assistant Professor by passing NET at the school and college lecturer, University level.

Similarly, job opportunities can also be found through competitive examinations conducted by CBI, Income Tax, Railways, Banking, Staff Selection Commission. Advocacy and mass communication etc. are also good options for arts. Vocational students can do electrical, electronics, automobile technology courses in engineering.
