Schools can soon be opened in such villages of Maharashtra, which are free from Kovid-19 infection. In this regard, the Chief Minister of the state Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday directed the state education department to explore the possibility of resuming schools and colleges for class 10 and 12 students in Kovid-19 free villages. .

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that schools and colleges can be considered for reopening in villages and towns where no new cases of corona virus have been reported for a long time and where there is no possibility of new infection. Students can start attending schools and colleges and attend classes as before the pandemic, the state government said in a statement.

The CM also directed officials of the education department to assess such villages and towns where schools and colleges can be allowed to resume.

The CM has also asked the education department to study the CBSE’s 10th and 12th standard giving formula for marks. The CM has said that the education department should prepare an outline in this regard at the earliest. Let us inform that like the CBSE board, in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection in Maharashtra too, the 10th and 12th examinations were canceled.
