In a live webinar, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Nishank, while interacting with the teachers and students of the Kendriya Vidyalaya, announced in a live webinar that the students will be asked questions in the upcoming board exam 2021 based on the revised syllabus.

In addition, the Education Minister further said that Engineering Entrance Examination – JEE MAIN 2021, and Medical Entrance Examination – NEET 2021 will be conducted on the basis of the entire syllabus only.

Education boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and several state boards have reduced the syllabus of class 10th and class 12th as a time measure, as students were facing difficulties due to the coronovirus epidemic.

Pokhriyal said during the webinar, “Students only have to study the entire syllabus for the CBSE Board Examination and other exams like CBSE Board Syllabus 2021 (Joint Entrance Examination (JEE 2021) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

During the live interaction with the students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pokhriyal further said that the schools would soon resume for offline classes for the students. The minister also said that, with offline classes, online classes will still continue.

Prior to this webinar, Nishank went live to announce the CBSE exam dates and JEE MAIN dates. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations have been scheduled from May 4 to June 10, while the 2021 practical examinations will start from March 1 and continue till the start of the theory paper. CBSE results will be declared by July 15.
