The academic session of the council schools has ended but the children have not been able to get the school bags. Two lakh 22 thousand children were to be given school bags, out of which only 56000 children have got bags. Now preparations are being made to blacklist the organization that distributes the bags.

In the education session 2020-21 in the council primary and upper primary schools, the government directed to provide free school bags to children. Though schools did not open due to Corona, but free uniforms and books, sweaters were provided to the children by the government. However, the institution which was ordered to provide school bags to children, made only 56000 bags available to the Education Department. The rest of the bag is said to be available soon. Waiting to distribute the bags to the children, the whole education session ended but the children did not get the bags.

BSA Mahesh Chandra told that the price of a bag was 88 rupees. 166,000 bags out of two lakh 22 thousand have not reached the schools. Due to which the institution has done sports worth Rs 14608000. The Basic Education Department has also started preparing to take action against the institution. BSA Mahesh Chandra said that the organization which has been entrusted with the responsibility of distributing the bags has not provided the bags. He informed that action is being taken to blacklist the institution.
