24 years Eti Agarwal from Lucknow topped the (CA) Chartered Accountants and (CPT) Common Proficiency Test Final Examination 2016. She scored 500 marks out of 800 and got 74.88%. Her hard work and self study is the base of her success. CA Exam 2016 was conducted in November and CPT Exam 2016 was conducted in December 2016.

(ICAI) Institute of Chartered Accountant of India conducted Chartered Accountants (CA) November Exam 2016 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) December Exam 2016. 74096 students appeared in this Examination and 7192 students passed this Examination. This Exam was held at 382 centres across the country.

CPT Result is 48.49%. 1106 students appeared in CPT Exam and 622 students passed this examination. 03 students of Jaipur set their position in the list of All India Top 50 students.

Eti Agarwal topped this exam, Bhiwandi’s Piyush Ramesh Lohia stood Second and Jyoti Maheshwari from Ahmedabad stood third position. Q.1: How you are taking this achievement?

Ans: Ever since the results were announced, my cell phone has been buzzing with calls from friends and relatives. It is so heartening to score the number one position in the exam

Q.2: How you prepared yourself for CA/CPT?

Ans: I worked very hard to set this position. I was regular at my studies. I completely focused on my syllabus.

Q.3: What are your further Plans?

Ans: I am aspiring for civil services. “After qualifying CA, I now realise that I want to serve the nation. While working as CA or CS, I will be working for someone, but by cracking civil exams, I will work for the country. I am eagerly awaiting the results of the Company Secretary Professional 2016 examination, expected to be announced in February.

Q.4: Tell us something about yourself and Family?

Ans: I am a studious girl from my school days. I had secured the All India Rank 1 at the IPCE in November 2013 and topped the ISC examination 2011 from Lucknow’s prestigious La Martiniere Girls College (LMGC). My father Bipin Agarwal is a CA and my mother Manju Agarwal is a home-maker, my elder sister is an engineer with an online shopping portal and my younger brother is in 11th class.

Q.5: What are your interests and hobbies?

Ans: I enjoy creative activities such as painting, drawing. I love dancing and especially classical form. I am a Bharatnatyam dancer.

Q.6: Any Success Mantra you want to share?

 Ans: Plan your work and work your plan. This is exactly what I have believed in since school days which has earned me success.
