The application for free admission to private schools under Right-to-Education (RTE) will be online from March 2. At the same time, applications for admission to schools in rural areas will also be filled online. However due to any reasons who cannot apply online. They do not need to panic. They can also apply offline. The BSA office will apply the application of such parents from its level on the portal of ITE. All such applications will also be uploaded on the portal to prevent admissions from Jugaad.

The Right to Free and Compulsory Child Education-2009 has a provision to determine 25 percent free admission in private schools against seats in pre-nursery and class-I children of disadvantaged groups and weaker income groups. In this order, the process of admission to private schools this year will be in three phases from March 2. In the first phase, the application process will be from March 2 to 25. Applications will be verified by the District Basic Education Officer from 26 to 28 March. The lottery will be taken out on March 30 and the selected children will be admitted to private schools by March.

At the same time, the second phase of the application process will be from April 1 to 23. Validation of applications from 24 to 26 April, lottery on 28 April and selected children will have to be admitted by 5 May. The application process for admission in the third and final phase will be from 29 April to 10 June. Validation of applications from 11 to 13 June, lottery on 15 June and admission of children by 30 June. The last day date to apply offline will be considered five days before the last date of online application.
