Dr. Ram Lakhan Singh, Vice Chancellor of Nilambar-Pitamber University met Draupadi Murmu, Governor of Jharkhand at Raj Bhavan. During this, the Governor reviewed the academic and administrative activities of the university. The Governor said that due to the global pandemic of Corona, the studies of the students are being affected. In such a situation, teachers should continue to guide the students continuously. The Governor said that teachers should also upload their lectures on platforms like YouTube etc. Apart from this, teachers can also guide students by creating WhatsApp groups. He said that the way to help the students living in remote rural areas will also have to be thought of.

On this occasion, Governor Murmu also expressed his happiness over the free online classes being started by Shri Digambar Jain University, Jhumri Tilaiya. He said that it is a pleasure to inaugurate the free online classes of the university. He said that educational institutions are closed due to the pandemic. There is a loss in the education of the students. In such a situation, online class appears as an option for their guidance.

Private universities understand the problems of poor parents 

The Governor said, it is being heard that private universities are charging fees for online classes. Universities also have to pay salaries to their staff. But at the same time they should also understand the difficulties and compulsions of financially weak parents. The Governor also expressed concern over the impact of the Corona epidemic on public life. He said that stopping the spread of corona is a big challenge. That’s why we have to include testing, vaccination along with social distancing and masks in our behavior.

These tips on online classes for young children

Governor Murmu also suggested that schools of young children can consult parents for ease in online classes. Do not take online classes at a time when parents are not present. He said that in the present situation, in a way, we are also going through an experiment. In such a situation, it is not appropriate to change teachers of classes like Nursery and UKG. The same teachers who were teaching in the last session can remain the same. This is because young children have become well acquainted with them.
