Driver’s duty is to drive at a reasonable speed, should be aware of his surroundings, must maintain control of the car, maintain and use vehicles equipment. He is wholly solely responsible for the carriage he is carrying in the vehicle.

Educational Qualification: Applying Candidates should pass X class or equivalent from recognized Board/ Institution.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 28 years for Driver

18 to 25 years Mechanic as on 01-01-2015.

Age Relaxation: Age Relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for APST & Sports personnel (Gen) and 10 years for Sports Personnel for APST.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on physical endurance/ efficiency test, trade test/ written examination/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 40/- (Rs. 10/- for APST candidates) through treasury challan in favour of Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Old PHQ, Ganga, Itanagar under Head of Account 0070 Fire & Emergency Services, Arunachal Pradesh.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with affixed the recent passport size photograph (3×4 cm) on the application, self attested copies of relevant certificates, self addressed envelope with Rs. 5/- postage stamp and superscribed as the “Name of the Post Applied for” by hand or post to the Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Old PHQ, Ganga, PO: R.K Mission, Itanagar, Pin-791113, Arunachal Pradesh on or before 02-12-2015 upto 1600 Hrs.
