Greater relief to more than one and a half lakh candidates in teacher recruitment, NIOS DElED course in exam is valid

There is great news for more than 1.5 lakh candidates pursuing Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.D) from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). They will now be able to appear in the written recruitment of primary schools teacher recruitment. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has also recognized this course to become a teacher, provided they pass the Central and State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

Candidates who have yet to get D.L.D from NIOS in the written examination of the primary schools teacher recruitment of Basic Education Council in Uttar Pradesh. In this examination only the Shikshamitras were given the opportunity, who had corresponded through the correspondence. The reason for this is due to NCTE manual. On this basis, the Bihar government also rejected the applications of some candidates. When he reached Patna High Court, the court ruled in his favor. Now NCTE Deputy Secretary T Pritam Singh has sent a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all the states of the country on 6 January.

1.51 lakhs in the state from NIOS to D.El.D.: Former state coordinator of National Institute of Open Schooling, Prayagraj, Chintamani Singh said that 1.71 lakh candidates had applied for this course in the state, out of which 1.51 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. Certificates etc. of all these have been sent, only those cases which are not fulfilling all the qualifications will be pending.

2018 and 2019 were out of TET: Examination Regulatory Authority Secretary Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi had excluded those who have been admitted to NIOS in Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 and 2019. In 2018, some candidates appeared in the examination but they were not issued certificates, whereas in 2019 such candidates were not included in the examination.

Competition will increase, this time doubt: With the acceptance of DLOS course of NIOS, competition in written test of UPTET and teacher recruitment will be increased further, because already validating B.Ed, a large number of contestants are giving both exams. Also this time the mandate of UPTET is going to be issued, now whether or not these candidates will get a chance in this is not clear yet.
