Guwahati High court vacancy for stenographer


The Guwahati High court recently announced many vacancies for the post of a Stenographer. A stenographer is like a court reporter who works in the courtroom and convert spoken words by typing them into a steno machine. A stenographer should be quick and accurate in his work and advanced typing skills and should be professionally certified because sometimes because of stenographer mistake there is a lack of information that creates hindrances in court proceedings and judgment. To keep all things in mind Guwahati high court announces this vacancy for those candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree from any discipline from a recognized institute and have a good working knowledge of Hindi and English typing in steno language with relevant experience. The candidates should fill the form on or before 12-03-2020.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate who has passed the 12th  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute
  • candidate should also have knowledge of steno writing in Hindi and the English language and have good work experience.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will depend on the written exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and selection will depend on that only.
