Higher education news: new challenge, higher education department will not reduce syllabus, will have to complete in two months

Classes of Higher Education Department will start being held regularly from 1 January. Meanwhile, a new challenge has now come in front of the students. They have to complete the eight-month syllabus in just two months. 

The department has made it clear that the syllabus will not be cut. Reducing or increasing the syllabus is a long process. It may take two to three months to complete this process. In such a situation, students will have to read the complete syllabus like every year. 

It is worth mentioning that this time about 4 lakh 37 thousand students have taken admission in UG classes and one lakh 30 thousand students in PG classes. Significantly, in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, it has been decided to open the college from January 1 with the presence of fifty percent students. Colleges have been closed for the last eight months because of Corona. 

In this regard, Commissioner Higher Education Chandrasekhar Valimbe Says that the process of increasing or reducing syllabus is extremely long. When the facts are to be reduced or reduced from a syllabus, the whole process has to be done before the start of an academic session. It has to be sent to the Board of Studies. 

In such a situation, if more than half of the session has passed, then this process will be started, but the new syllabus will not be formed. In such a situation, the current syllabus will be taught only by studying it.

The session started from July

The academic session started every year from July 1. The examination was conducted in March-April after studying till the end of February. But this time due to Corona, the entire academic session has been affected.
