In view of rising cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand, higher educational institutions will be closed in Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udhamsinghnagar districts till April 30. Along with this, higher educational institutions of Kotdwar Bhabar region will also remain closed. Minister of State for Higher Education Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has given instructions to the departmental officers.

Minister of State for Higher Education said that corona infection is increasing rapidly in the state. Especially in the more populated plains districts, it has seen more impact. In view of this, all the state and private higher educational institutions of Kotdwar Bhabar, along with four districts of Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar have been instructed to remain closed.

The Minister of State said that at present all the colleges have been connected to the 4G network service. Whereas private educational institutions have also made arrangements for online education at their own level. He said that in view of the present circumstances, students and teachers will have to continue studying following the guidelines issued on Kovid. Monitoring will also be arranged from the government level to make online education better.
Staff nurse recruitment exam scheduled to be held on April 18
The recruitment examination to be held on April 18 for direct recruitment to the posts of Staff Nurse in the Department of Medicine and Medical Education has been postponed. A directive has been issued in this regard by Dr. Mukesh Pandey, Joint Secretary, Council of Technical Education, Uttarakhand.

In the directive issued by the Joint Secretary, it has been said that the examination was to be held in 27 examination centers in Dehradun and Haldwani. Council representatives were appointed at various centers for the examination to be held from ten in the morning to one in the afternoon, but the examination has been postponed till further orders for unavoidable reasons.
