The Bihar government has ordered all the officers of the Department of Education to give their Declaration of Assets by 15 February 2021. This order has been issued on behalf of Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Education. It may be noted that the State Government, as part of its campaign against corruption, takes details of the property of public representatives and government officials. 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself has been serious about his policy of not tolerating corruption. This is the latest order of the Education Department. After this order, stirring among departmental officers is intensified.

Property details to be given to these officers

As per the order of Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Education, State Project Director of Bihar Education Project Council, Director of Mid-Day Meal, Managing Director of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bihar State Text Book, besides all the directors of Education Department of the state Managing Director of Prakashan Nigam, Secretary of Bihar Board, Secretary of Board of Sanskrit Education, Secretary of Board of Madrasa, Sanskrit Academy, Maithili Academy, Bangla Academy, Bhojpuri Academy, South Indian Language Academy, Bihar Hindi Granth Academy, KP Jaiswal Research Institute, BiharThe Director of National Language Council, Jagjivan Ram Institute of Parliamentary Studies and Political Research, Library and Information Center has to give full details of the property.

Public representatives and government officials give details of the property

It is to be known that the government takes details of their assets from Peoples Representative and Government officials as part of their campaign against corruption. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (CM Nitish Kumar) himself has also made details of his assets public. It is easy to ascertain through the details of assets of government officials whether the assets acquired match their known sources of income.
