Here is a good news for all the candidates who have applied for Indian Railway jobs for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians but due to some issues their job applications got rejected by Railways on uploading faulty photos. Now, Indian Railways is giving another chance to all those 70,000 candidates and asked them to rectify their mistake till 20th July 2018.
According to the reports, Railway has received 4.8 million job applications for 26,500 vacant positions of Technicians and Assistant Loco Pilot. All those 70,000 job applicants who were given this second chance have been informed through email and messages.
Talking about this matter, Rajesh Dutt Bajpai, Director Information and Publicity, Railway Board has said “we realised that among the total applications that were found ineligible, around 127,000 candidates were found ineligible for invalid pictures. Out of the 127,000 people, now, 70,000 have been asked to make the changes in the pictures and upload them again.”
The first phase of this recruitment examination will be held in the months of September-November. Earlier, the examination date were postpones from May-June due to large number of applications received for these reported posts. Railways took time to scrutinize all the job applications received at that period.
As reported by Indian Railways, it will fill up more than one lakh vacant seats by next March-April. We must inform you that Railways has received about 22.7 million applications for around 1,10,000 vacant posts. So, that’s a relief for all the 70,000 candidates to now appear for this recruitment programme and get the chance to get employment in Indian Railways.
