Instructions to private schools to take only tuition fees in Himachal Pradesh

It is a matter of relief for parents in case of tuition fees including all funds from private schools. Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur has instructed all private schools to charge only tuition fees. He has also directed the Directorate and Deputy Commissioner Shimla to make arrangements to ensure this. Action has also been asked for those who disobey. Although the schools that have recovered all the fees will be refunded or not, it is not yet decided.

The Education Minister assured him that the government would enact a proper law to curb private schools by March when he met the parents who were troubled by the arbitrariness of private schools.

Parents of DAV New Shimla, DAV Lakkad Bazar, Dayanand Public School and other schools met Education Minister Hari Shankar Tiwari, Hominder Singh Dhauta, Shalu Negi said that after receiving positive response from the minister, they hope that the arbitrariness of private schools will be curbed .
