Junior Research fellow is a person appointed to produce high quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of data. He works independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects. He manages external relationship with funders and other stakeholders.

(Tech.) in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/ Petroleum Geosciences/ Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/ Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/M.Phill in Geology/Geophysics/Applied Mathematics/ M.Tech or equivalent in Geology/Engineering Geology/Geological Technology/Mining Engineering/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government of India rules.

Indian School of Mines (ISM) is located in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. It was established in the year 1926 by British Indian Government.
