Qualification: A candidate appearing for this post must be a graduate from a recognized University or Graduate with Psychology or if a candidate have a Degree from a recognized University with B.Ed/ Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent is also eligible. There will be certain levels of eligibility Examining the candidate’s Height, Chest, Eye Sight etc.
Age limit: Candidate should be of 20-25 years of age while applying for this post.
Pay Scale: Candidate who gets selected will be given a salary of Rs. 5200-20,200+ G.P. Rs. 2,400/- p.m. including other allowances as declared by the Authorities.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India; it was established on 24 October 1962. The ITBP was planned for deployment along Indo-China Border. The ITBP, which was started by 4 battalions, has now expanded upto a force of 45 battalions. The ITBP is trained in Civil Medical Camp, disaster management, nuclear, biological, chemical disasters and is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. ITBPF has been the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous relief operations till now.
