Over 10 Lakh Students Appeared JEE Main 2017, Analysis of Question Paper

Around 10 lakh students appeared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination held on Sunday April 2, 2017 to get admission in engineering including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The Answer Key for the JEE Main exam will be available between April 18, 2017 and April 22, 2017 on the official website of JEE Main.

The exam received the mixed reactions from the students who appeared. Some students found the question paper a bit difficult while some students were happy with it.  The JEE Main consisted two papers. Paper 1 was held for duration of three hours. It included 90 questions dividing among Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics equally. Each question was allotted four marks for correct answer.

The Paper 2 was a bit difficult and lengthy. It was divided in 3 sections Aptitude, Mathematics and Drawing. The students need to solve 390 questions in the duration of 3 hours. The students found the change in pattern in aptitude section, while mathematics was considered as the toughest among the three sections.
