JKSSB Recruitment for 2647 various posts 2015.Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has released notification for the recruitment of 2647 Junior Supervisor/ Sub-Auditor, Junior Assistant, Patwari, Driver, Village Level Worker, Forest Guard, Multipurpose Worker, Compiler, Assistant Compiler, Stenographer, Technician III & Other vacancies.
Stenographers requires extensive training in shorthand, as well as the use of the stenotype machine and related technology. Individuals in court reporter programs therefore spend a great deal of time working on achieving both speed and accuracy in stenography.
Junior assistants protect and unprotect pages, view and probably restore deleted pages, probably unblock users. He maintains office files, open and distribute the Mail, type correspondence reports, take minutes at meetings, distribute minutes, coordinate repairs to office equipment’s, schedule meetings, review and edit reports to the boards, maintain confidential records, prepare packages for board meetings.
Patwari is responsible for proper upkeep and preservation of all revenue records in respect of all revenue estates falling within their jurisdiction and to girdawari all records of the area which comes under him. Patwari is the only person who gives all information about revenue to his seniors.
Driver’s duty is to drive at a reasonable speed, should be aware of his surroundings, must maintain control of the car, maintain and use vehicles equipment. He is wholly solely responsible for the carriage he is carrying in the vehicle.

- candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant must have Graduation from any recognized University with the knowledge of type writing having not less than 35 words speed per minute for Junior Assistant.
- Candidates applying for the post of Driver should be Matric pass
- Candidates applying for the post of Patwari must be Graduate with knowledge of Urdu
- Candidates applying for the post of Village Level Worker and Multipurpose worker should be 10+2 pass
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-40 years for Open merit candidates, 18-43 years for SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates, 18-42 years for physically challenged candidates, 18-48 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates, 18-40 years for Government Service/ Contractual employees as on 01-01-2014.
