Kasturba schools get 10 times more applications than vacant posts

In the 16 Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools operated in the district, 10 times more applications have been received for 68 vacant posts of staff including teachers.

Applications were sought for vacant posts last month. Right now these application forms are being sorted post-wise, so that it can be known how many applications have come for which post.
There are 16 Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ Schools in the district, where around 1600 girl students are enrolled. In these, many posts of teachers are vacant, then applications were also sought for other vacant posts including accountants.
Of the 34 vacant posts of full-time teachers, six are in English, two in Social, 14 in Mathematics and 12 in Science. Similarly, 16 posts of part-time teachers are vacant.

The selection process is also going on for five posts of accountant, seven of assistant cooks, four of watchmen and two of peons. More than 650 applications have come for all these vacancies.

Application forms are being listed separately for each post, so that the process can be carried forward. After the panchayat election voting, the selection process will speed up.

District Coordinator (Girl Education) Vinay Kumar Tiwari, in a Kasturba Gandhi school, five posts of full-time teachers and three part-time teachers have been created according to the prescribed subjects. Similarly, an accountant, a chief cook, two assistant cooks, a janitor and a peon should be deployed. There are 68 vacancies relative to the posts created, on which the selection process is going on.
On the instructions of Director General School Education, selection process is going on for 68 vacant posts in 16 Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools operated in the district. More than 650 applications have come for the vacant posts. Efforts will be made to complete the selection process at the earliest.
