Library and laboratory closed in Central University, then recovery of fees from students

Sports activity, library and laboratory are closed in Guru Ghasidas Central University amid Corona epidemic. Then their fee is being collected from the students. The student council has started a strong protest regarding this. Semester fee reduction has been demanded. Student Council President Sachin Gupta has written a letter in the name of Dean Student Welfare, protesting against the fee.

Sachin says that online classes are conducted in the session 2020-21. Sports activity, library and laboratory have been closed for students during this period. In this hour of crisis, now students are being asked for its fee. The students are being submitted the application for the semester examination. Keeping this in mind, the council has demanded that except tuition fees, all other fees should not be charged.

Rather it should be cut. Significantly, the parents of many students have died in the midst of the Corona epidemic. The economic crisis has deepened. Still, no attention is being paid to this by the university. In the matter, media cell in-charge Prof. Pratibha J Mishra said that the interests of the students are being taken care of. There is no such problem.

Fee not justified: Udayan

Brotherhood panel official and student Udayan Sharma said that the arbitrariness of the fee by the university is not right. In this hour of crisis, fees for those things which the students have not used at all. Still, the recovery is not justified. If the university does not give relief to the students, we will go to the High Court.
