Maharashtra Education Minister told- When will the 10th-12th board examination be held in 2021

Necessary information has come about the Maharashtra Board examination to be held in 2021 next year. State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has given this information.

On Friday, 6 November 2020, Varsha Gaikwad told that the board exams of Maharashtra board class 10th and 12th will be taken late next year. Gaikwad said that these exams would not take place before May 2021.

The Education Minister said that ‘this decision has been taken in view of the present situation of corona virus. Such situations are expected to remain for a long time. So we discussed the issue of completing syllabus and then conducting the exam.

He said that ‘We also discussed how to reduce the syllabus so that the teachers can complete the remaining part on time. We will have to reduce the syllabus by 25 per cent.

After all this, the Maharashtra government has come to the decision that Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will not be able to conduct 10th and 12th board examinations before May in 2021.
