Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Judicial Services should possess Degree in Law of a recognized University and must have so practiced for a period of not less than seven years.
Exam Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/- for UR & for all the candidates who are not the residents of Manipur State irrespective of their categories, (Rs. 1000/- for bonafide residents of Manipur State belonging SC/ ST/ OBC) , Fee can be deposited only in the form of challan with SBI branches through Core Banking Network all over India.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination, viva-voce/ interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with Demand Draft, copies of relevant documents in support of age, qualification, experience & caste etc., self-addressed stamped (Rs. 25/-) envelope of the size of 11″ × 05″ should reach to The Registrar, High Court of Manipur, Mantripukhri, Pin – 795002, Manipur State OR can also be submitted by dropping it in the Box kept there for in the Registry office on or before 11-09-2015 till 05:00 PM. The envelope should be superscribed Application for MJS Grade-I Direct Recruitment Examination 2015.
The Manipur High Court is the High Court of the state of Manipur. It was established in March 2013, after making suitable amendments in the Constitution of India and North-Eastern Areas Act, 1971. The seat of the High Court is at Imphal, the capital of Manipur. The first Chief Justice is Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, a bench of the Gauhati High Court used to have jurisdiction over the state of Manipur. Currently Chief Justice is Laxmikanta Mahapatra.

The state covers an area of 22,327 square kilometers (8,621 sq. mi). People of Manipur often speak different types of Sino-Tibetan languages. Manipur has a population of 2,721,756 of this total, 58.9% live in the valley and the remaining 41.1% in the hilly regions, which is nearly 64% of the total geographical area of the state. The gross state domestic product of Manipur at market prices was about 10188 crore (US$1.6 billion) which is from agriculture, forestry, cottage and trade driven.
