Educational Qualification: Applying candidates should be 10+2(senior secondary) pass from a recognized Board.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200

Age limit: 18 to 21 years as on 01.07.2015

Fee: A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque of Rs. 300/- shall be attached as fee in favor of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi) which should be valid for 6 months. The candidate must also write his name, date of birth and address at the back of Demand/Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque drawn in favor of DCP/Recruitment Cell, NPL, Delhi

Selection Process: All candidates, who qualify the Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests, shall be put through a written test of one and a half hour (11 /2) duration which will carry 100 marks. The question paper will have 100 questions and will be of objective type and will include questions on Reasoning [35 Marks], General Knowledge/ Current Affairs [50 Marks] and Numerical Ability [15 Marks]. The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).

The Manipur Police is headed by Director General of Police (DGP) Shahid Ahmed. The Manipur Police has nine operational groups under the three main departments: Crime branch, Training, Traffic Police.

Manipur is a northeastern state of India and its capital city is Imphal . Manipur is bounded by Nagaland to the north, Mizoram to the south, and Assam to the west; Burma lies to its east. The state covers an area of 22,327 square kilometers (8,621 sq. mi). People of Manipur often speak different types of Sino-Tibetan languages. The official languages are Manipuri (Meeteilon) and English. Manipur has natural vegetation which occupies an area of about 14,365 km². Manipur has a population of 2,721,756 of this total, 58.9% live in the valley and the remaining 41.1% in the hilly regions, which is nearly 64% of the total geographical area of the state. The gross state domestic product of Manipur at market prices was about 10188 crore (US$1.6 billion) which is from agriculture, forestry, cottage and trade driven.
