Junior Research fellow is a person appointed to produce high quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of data. He works independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects. He manages external relationship with funders and other stakeholders.
Research associate is person who is appointed to conduct literature reviews, collection and analyzing data, develop research protocol and Abstract data from Client’s charts. Research Associate plans research, and specializes in finance, economics, equities or accounting. Research associates conduct economic and finance research and has great knowledge in finance investments in residential, commercial, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors.

Duration of Post: The post is purely temporary on contract basis with an initial appointment for a period of one year. Likely to be extended yearly up to a period of 2 years, or project duration whichever is earlier. Periodic performance appraisal may be provided.
JRF: INR 25000 +20% HRA = Rs 30,000/- per month for the first two years. It may be enhanced to Rs 28000+20% HRA per month in third year after evaluating the performance as per MNIT rules.
Research Associate: As per DST Rules.
JRF: Candidate should be B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) along with M. Tech. (in any relevant domain of Civil Engineering).
Research Associate: Candidate should be B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) and M. Tech. (in any relevant domain of Civil Engineering) and a PhD with relevant specialization.
Desirable qualifications: First class B.E. / B. Tech. (CE) preferably with first class M.E. / M. Tech. (domain of CE) may apply. Candidates having experience in the related area will be given preference.
