According to the information, on Tuesday, there were reports of 50 teachers being positive, after which many schools have been closed in a hurry. In Belagavi, 22 teachers have been found corona positive, which have been kept in the Home Corentin. The school has been closed after symptoms of corona were found in a teacher in Kadoli village in Belagavi taluk.
AB Pundalik, Deputy Director of Public Education has said that any teacher who has symptoms of corona at all, is being denied school. At the same time, only those teachers who are healthy are being sent to take classes. Here seven schools in Chitradurga district have been closed. A total of six people, including four female teachers, have been found corona positive. Chitradurga DDPI Ravi Shankar Reddy said that these teachers have been kept in the Home Corentin.
Health Minister K Sudhakar has said that there is no need to be more panic about the matter. We have made adequate arrangements for the students. Teacher is also being taken care of. He said that there are about 10 lakh students in the 10th class. It is but natural that some of the academic staff have been found to be virus positive even after taking all precautions. We are engaged in their investigation. Those found positive are being treated by isolating them.
Further Sudhakar said that the future of millions of students is connected to this. I want to appeal to everyone that we should not spread the infection because gradually we are returning to normalcy.
