Name and caste were changed for years, government teacher, FIR registered, salary will be recovered

District Basic Education Officer Shivnarayan Singh has terminated the service of two assistant teachers in the name of another in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to filing a case against them, the concerned Block Education Officer has been ordered to get salary recovery. These two teachers changed their name and caste and got a job in 1997 with the help of malicious record. Awadh Kishore Chauhan (resident Ghevda, Thana-Bhaluwani, Deoria) had filed an affidavit against Suresh Chandra, assistant teacher posted at Daflapura, Upper Primary School, Education Sector, and Suresh Chandra, Assistant Teacher posted at Upper Primary School, Kakaraso. It was alleged that both the name, caste and address were changed and working on the other’s marks and certificates.

Taking the complaint seriously, both the teachers were summoned by the BSA with the original records. They did not attend, so the BSA handed over the investigation to the Block Education Officer, Seer, with the salaries of both being restricted. The investigating officer started the investigation on the basis of name, address and caste recorded in the service book of both the teachers.

The investigating officer visited the village of both on 22 July 2020. There, he got the report by meeting the head and competent officer. According to this, the correct name and address of Suresh Chandra is Ram Kripal Chauhan’s son Lallan Prasad (Caste Nonia, Resident Ghevda, Post Tekua, Thana Bhulani, District Deoria), while on the service book (Caste changed, Village, Post-Bhulani, District- Deoria) is recorded.

Similarly, the exact name of Hridaynarayn and know Umesh Chauhan (race Nonia village bagaha Chauri, post-hata, police Bhulani, was on the district Deoria), the Service now (nation changed, the village would Gder post Raypura district Deoria.

BSA Shiva Narayan Singh has given the direction to the Education Officer Seer to lodge a lawsuit, ending the service appointment date of both the teachers as soon as they get the inquiry report.

Shiva Narayan Singh, the Basika Education Officer of Ballia, said that the investigation was conducted on the basis of the complaint. In the investigation, the complaint was found correct and both the teachers were found to have changed jobs by changing the caste and name. Ending his service, an FIR has been directed to be lodged. They will also get a recovery of the salary they have received so far.
