National Commission for Women was incorporated in 1992 by the government of India under the National Commission for Women Act. The organization is engaged in to improve the status of women and worked for their economic empowerment and organize many workshops against violence, foeticide, etc. in order to generate awareness in the society against these social evils and achieve equality and equal participation in all spheres of life. Recently the organization has announced many vacancies for the post of a Consultant. Those candidates who have post-graduate degrees and experience from any recognized institute can apply for the post.

Educational Qualification
- Masters degree of a recognized university or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level
- Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level
- Master’s degree of recognized University or equivalent in any subject

Those candidates who are eligible will appear for the written exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be based on that only.
