The National Institute of Design was established by the government of India in 1956. It is an autonomous organization that engaged in creating a design-enabled innovation economy and strengthening design education in the country. It is divided in many sectors and policies like “Make in India”, “Skill India”, “Digital India”, “Startup India” etc. The focuses on promoting design education to the next level with innovative skill and expertise of professionally-trained designers to contribute to the national missions announced by the Central Government and to continue it recently the organization has announced vacancies for the post of Senior Design and Senior Design Partner. Those candidates who are Postgraduate in design can apply for the post.
